What is collected

You can use every page here without an account. No name, no email, no login. Two things are still recorded: standard server logs (IP address, browser, requested page) and aggregated analytics.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which foods are searched most. It sets cookies that identify a browser, not a person. You can block it with any content blocker, or with Google’s own opt-out add-on.

Advertising

Display advertising is served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ad Center.

Search queries

What you type into the food checker stays in your browser and is not stored on a server. It is matched against a static list of foods.
